Instead of a long OOC spiel, I will do this as a mini-FAQ to answer some queries about whom and what we are at this point in time.
Beyond Eternity is a paradise for old school mature players. “Leave your ego’s @ the door if you’re accepted” The world of warcraft experience is very important to us, and we are reveling in it. Expect a lot of exploration and lore searching in game – its all about a rounded experience for us.
Are there any age limits?
As you might have guessed we are not going to mass recruit hyperactive teenagers who want to show off their leetness. While acknowledging that age and maturity is not the same thing, we will be looking for more mature players in both. If you are a whiner, a griefer, a beggar, or otherwise anti-social in a guild sense, please move along. In general, if you are under the age of 22 or have a mental age smaller than your shoe size, please do not apply. (There are some exceptions to this rule)
What about PvP?
Wow is obviously PvE and PvP orientated, and we obviously work hard to make our guild as good and effective as we can be. However, we will acknowledge the PvE elements of the game as EQUALLY important to some players as PvP, so will not neglect them in any way. If you want to avoid PvP completely, you will find people who are more than happy to play PvE with you instead. Tons of Arena teams too.
What form of Guild Government?
We have formed a ruler-ship of Monarchy. That does not mean that we do not take into account what others think, what others want, fairness, justice etc, but it does mean that what I say goes. This is a mmorpg game; democracy has its uses, but not always in a medium such as a computer game.
Decisions are made to increase the fun, immersion, and pleasurable experience for the majority of the guild. Too much democracy leads to dissension and the officers spending more time politicking and being diplomats than playing, which is unacceptable.
What Time zone and Language will you be using?
We are Americans, ‘the melting pot ;-}’ and are playing on Hyjal west coast server. From an ease of communication perspective, we ask that all applicants have a reasonable command of English.
How do I join?
This is our hub for communication. Be sure to read Ranking & Conduct before talking with GM of BE. Voice Auditions are mandatory. We want Quality players; not quantity. Click HERE
** Mefers = need NOT apply (me first always mentality)
